On Baiersbronn's local mountain, Stöckerkof, the existing Glasmännlehütte is to be replaced by a modern wooden mountain hut. The design of the structure takes both aspects of regional architecture and ecological aspects into account.
Glasmännlehütte The new Glasmännlehütte forms a new node on the Stöckerkopf. It is a meeting point for hikers, guests of the forest chalets and restaurant visitors. Accommodation guests can reach the chalets easily via a private path. A large public terrace offers passers-by and guests of the Glasmännlehütte a spot to relax and eat. Part of the terrace is roofed and adjoins the à la carte area of the restaurant.
Forest chalets The forest hotel includes eight single-storey chalets, three of which are barrier-free. Thirteen two-storey houses offer more space and wellness facilities. The connecting path to the mountain station and the natural fire access create a network of paths connecting the accommodation. This enables both nature-oriented experience and an economic development of the hotel business.
