It shapes you when you are born in the Black Forest and grow up like we did - Klaus Günter and Jörg Finkbeiner. It's not just a respect for nature that you're born with. You learn that life is about reliability and honesty. The word counts. The encounter at eye level. Maintaining a pleasant down-to-earth attitude.Our training as carpenters and carpenters is just as rock-solid, which has not only shaped our specialist knowledge, but also our passion for wood and other renewable raw materials. It was clear that we wanted to work with that.In 2006 we founded Partner and Partner Architects. We now have around 40 wonderful and very different people working for us in the middle of Berlin, who apart from the two of us don't come from the Black Forest at all. And yet they carry it within themselves. Because we are united by our common values and our passion for wood.

In 2006, we then founded Partner and Partner Architects. Now located in the heart of Berlin, we employ around 40 wonderful and diverse people. Even though not all of them come from the Black Forest, they carry it within them. This is because we are united by our shared values and our passion for wood. Overall, we are a close-knit community where everyone can contribute and is valued. This is also reflected in our open office, which facilitates the intensive exchange of information as well as casual small talk.

Mutual exchange is important to us because it embodies the essential idea behind Partner and Partner: We want to develop, plan, and realize our projects through a partnership process. Therefore, we involve not only employees but also clients, engineering firms, developers, researchers, and all other stakeholders on an equal footing in our projects.

Just as naturally, we are committed to being partners beyond our office: We are members of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), aktivplus e.V., as well as the Cradle to Cradle e.V
