Finalist! German Corporate Sustainability Award 2025

Finaaaaale! We are quite proud to announce that the jury of the German Sustainability Award has put us on the shortlist of the most sustainable companies in Germany in the Architecture & Civil Engineering category as one of three architectural firms. For us, this is also confirmation that as a team, with our convictions and our commitment, we are among the most sustainable companies in the construction industry - and that as a relatively small firm. But for us, it has always been a given that our solutions meet the enormous challenges facing the building sector and our entire society. We have been able to prove several times in the past that we are right about this, for example at the 2021 Sustainability Award. Back then, our Woodscrapers received this award - at that time still as a concept. It's great that they are now being implemented.

Construction (Transformation) Masters

This is how the German Sustainability Award Foundation describes the companies nominated for the 17th German Sustainability Award 2025, continuing:

"With inspiring and functional design, sustainable architecture creates a positive vision of the future for urban spaces. It harmonizes climate-friendly resource use, technological progress, and individual living and usage needs with design quality. This applies not only to new buildings but also to the preservation and transformation of existing structures. 'Green' architecture and engineering address the urgent questions of climate protection, climate adaptation, and the circular economy. Transformation succeeds through the planned reuse of building materials, recyclable concrete or wood, natural insulation materials like hemp or straw, minimal operating energy, the use of renewable energy, and space-efficient construction with minimal land sealing. Exemplary flagship projects, outstanding district solutions, and smart buildings with net-zero effects are driving the construction transition forward. The entire life cycle, from raw material extraction to recycling, and the fulfillment of societal demands for future living and working environments are key factors. The industry bears the creative responsibility for sustainable urban development, bold visions, and transformative concepts. It enhances quality of life, promotes multimodal mobility, and sustainably organizes infrastructure, enabling socially inclusive urban spaces."
